Prof. Dr. Lex Hoogduin – Chairman

Lex Hoogduin became Chairman of LCH Group Limited and LCH Limited on 5 March 2015. He joined LCH as an independent non-executive director of LCH in September 2012 and was Chair of its Limited, SA and LLC Risk Committees from January 2013 to February 2015.

He was an Executive Director at De Nederlandsche Bank (DNB) from January 2009 until July 2011, responsible for economic policy and research, financial stability, financial markets, statistics and payment, clearing and settlement systems. He was also project leader in the merger of DNB with the Pensioen en Verzekeringskamer.

Between 2005 and 2008 he was the Chief Economist of Robeco and Managing Director of the IRIS research institute. Prior to this he spent time at DNB, where he worked as division director Scientific Research from 2001 until 2005. From 1997-2001 he worked in Frankfurt as advisor of Wim Duisenberg, the first president of the ECB. During this period he was also connected to the University of Groningen.

He is a part-time professor Monetary Economics and Financial Institutions at the University of Amsterdam. He holds a Master's degree in Economics from State University of Groningen, and received his PhD degree in Economics in 1991.

Daniel Maguire, Chief Executive Officer, LCH Group

Daniel was appointed Chief Executive Officer, LCH Group in October 2017.

As CEO Daniel is responsible for achieving new business growth, maintaining and building existing customer relationships and driving innovation and efficiency across the Group, while ensuring LCH’s risk and resilience is fully safeguarded. Building on his strong track record of innovation, delivery and control Daniel is also responsible for the development of an integrated global product strategy and its execution.

Prior to being appointed as CEO, Daniel was most recently Group COO. During his 16-year career at LCH Daniel has had involvement in, and responsibility for, risk management, default management, product management, regulatory strategy, programme delivery, sales, marketing and operations. In 2014, after returning from four years in the US where he started and built out LCH’s North America operations and led SwapClear’s client clearing franchise, Daniel took on the role of Global Head of SwapClear and subsequently took responsibility for LCH’s ForexClear and Listed Rates services. Previously, Daniel worked at JPMorgan from 2005 to 2008 before returning to LCH on 1 September 2008, where he was immediately responsible for the successful trading and unwinding of Lehman Brothers’ LCH-cleared bond and repo portfolio.

Daniel is also a member of London Stock Exchange Group’s Executive Committee

Mike Bagguley – Barclays Capital

Mike Bagguley is Chief Operating Officer of Barclays International, based in London. He is a member of the Barclays International Executive Committee.

Mike joined Barclays’ fixed income trading desk in London in 2001 and went on to become a Managing Director leading US Treasury and US Dollar interest rate swap trading in New York. In 2006, he moved to Johannesburg as Head of Secondary Markets Trading. He returned to London three years later to take on responsibility for global foreign exchange cash trading. Mike assumed additional responsibilities between 2010 and 2013, becoming Head of Foreign Exchange and subsequently Head of Commodities. In 2014, he was appointed Head of Macro Products, bringing together the firm’s Commodities, Foreign Exchange, Local Markets and Rates businesses. Mike was appointed Chief Operating Officer (COO) of the Investment Bank in November 2015, and was appointed COO of Barclays International in July 2016.

He is Co-Chair of Barclays’ Women’s Initiative Network in EMEA.

Prior to Barclays, Mike worked at Bankers Trust in Tokyo in fixed income rates.

Mike holds a Bachelor of Science (Hons) degree in Mathematics from Warwick University and qualified as a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries in the UK. He is a board member of the LCH, a leading multi-asset class and multinational clearing house.

Jill M Considine – Independent

Jill M. Considine has held financial services leadership positions in both the public and private sectors. She was Chairman and CEO of the Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC) and its subsidiaries from 1999 to 2008, President of the New York Clearing House Association, L.L.C. from 1993 to 1998, and Managing Director, CAO and a member of the Board of Directors of American Express Bank Ltd., from 1991 to 1993.

Ms. Considine was New York State Superintendent of Banks from 1985 to 1991 and a member of the board of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York for six years, serving as Chairman of the Audit and Operational Risk Committee. She was appointed as a trustee of the AIG Credit Facility Trust by the Federal Reserve Bank of NY and the US Treasury and served from 2009 until 2011. She is currently a director of the Interpublic Group of Companies, Mizuho Securities, USA, InfraHedge, Ltd. And the Financial Services Volunteer Corps (FSVC).

Ms Considine is the chairman of LCH LLC.

Chris Corrado – London Stock Exchange Group

Chris Corrado was appointed Group COO and Group CIO in November 2015. Chris was previously Managing Director at MSCI, CIO/CTO, responsible for technology, data services and program management from 2013. Chris has more than thirty years of global experience in managing technology platforms and transformational change in the financial services industry. Prior to joining MSCI, Chris held a variety of senior CTO roles in leading banks, including Morgan Stanley, Deutsche Bank, Merrill Lynch and UBS. He has also worked for high growth technology companies as CTO at eBay, CIO at AT&T Wireless, and SVP of Technology, Strategic Initiatives and Business Architecture at Asurion, the mobile technology protection company. He began his career at IBM. He graduated with a B.S. in Management Information Systems & Business Administration from the University of New York at Albany.

Jacques d'Estais – BNP Paribas

Jacques d'Estais is Deputy Chief Operating Officer supervising Investment Solutions, International Retail Banking and Personal Finance.  He is also a member of the Group Executive Committee.

He has a long and esteemed career at BNP Paribas, having joined Paribas in 1983, in the Commercial Banking department in Paris, moving on to the Treasury Department in 1986.  Since 1988 he has held positions as Global head of Interest Rate Options, then Global Head of Equity Derivatives, and from 1995 to 1999 he led Paribas Capital Markets Japan as General Manager before being appointed Global Head of Fixed Income, based in London.  More recently, he was Head of Corporate and Investment Banking and Head of Investment Solutions, again based in London.

Jacques d'Estais graduated from the Ecole des Sciences Economiques et Commerciales (ESSEC) in 1981.

Jonathan Eliot - Insight Investment Management

Jonathan Eliot is Chief Risk Officer of Insight Investment Management a position he has held since May 2017.

Between January 2011 and December 2016, Jonathan was Chief Risk Officer of Man Group, with overall responsibility for both corporate and fund risk management. Prior to Man Group, he spend 14 years with JP Morgan, as a trader and marketer in the Global Swap Group while based in London, Tokyo and Singapore. He was Head of Interest Rate Options and Exotics trading in Tokyo, before being appointed Head of Corporate Risk Management for Asia.

Subsequently, Jonathan held senior market risk roles at Deutsche Bank, as head of G10 Interest Rate Risk, and later as head of Non Traded Market Risk; and then at Barclays Bank, as Group Head of Market Risk. He also spent two years with Integrated Finance Limited, a corporate finance and advisory boutique founded by P. Hancock, R. Mendoza and Professor R. Merton, setting up their London operation.

He has an MA (First Class Hons.) in Mathematics, and Management, from Queens' College, Cambridge University.

Ashok Krishnan – Bank of America Merill Lynch

Ashok Krishnan is Global head of Execution Services at Bank of America Merrill Lynch.

Based in London, Ashok is responsible for all electronic trading globally including sales, product development and services. As part of this role, he oversees direct market access, algorithmic trading, Bank of America Merrill Lynch's dark pools and associated services. Additionally, he is responsible for market structure.

Ashok joined Bank of America Merrill Lynch in 2005 from Lehman Brothers where, as Vice President of EMEA Electronic Product Development, he was responsible for developing the bank's electronic trading platform in Europe.

Ashok holds a Bachelor of engineering in Electronics and Telecommunications and an MBA from the London Business School.

Puneet Malhi – Goldman Sachs

Puneet is head of Global Synthetic Trading and co-head of Prime Brokerage in EMEA. He is also responsible for EMEA Futures and Clearing businesses. Puneet is a member of the Firmwide Finance Committee, the EMEA Securities Division Operating Committee, the Securities Division Client and Business Standards Committee (CBSC), the global and EMEA Asset Liability Committees and the EMEA Senior Diversity Council. He joined Goldman Sachs in 2000 as an executive director in London and was named managing director in 2002 and partner in 2006.Prior to joining the firm, Puneet worked in the Equity Finance Group for Lehman Brothers in London and New York. Puneet earned a BSc in Mathematics from Kings College London in 1992.

Shona Milne – Independent

Shona Milne is an independent non-executive director and Audit Committee Chairman of LCH Group Ltd and each of its subsidiary companies.

Shona started her Financial career at Deloitte Haskins and Sells, moving to Morgan Stanley and then Morgan Grenfell, where she was Head of Product Control for Treasury and Corporate and Investment Banking.  Following the integration of Morgan Grenfell with Deutsche Bank, she held various positions within the organisation.  Between 1996-2003 she was Global Business Area Controller for Equities Trading and Sales, moving in 2003 to the role of CFO EMEA and finally as CFO Deutsche Bank Netherlands from 2011-2012.

Shona is currently Board Trustee and Co-Vice Chair of Regents University London as well as Chair of the Finance Committee; Director of Finance South East and, Treasurer and Trustee of Stonewall Equality, a UK based charity.

She is a graduate of St Andrews University and Heriot Watt University and a Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland.

Xavier Rolet – London Stock Exchange Group

Xavier Rolet was appointed to the London Stock Exchange Group Board in March 2009 and appointed Chief Executive on 20 May 2009. From 2000 to 2008 he was a senior executive at Lehman Brothers and, most recently, CEO of Lehman in France. Prior to Lehman Brothers, he held senior positions at Dresdner Kleinwort Benson from 1997 to 2000, Credit Suisse First Boston from 1994 to 1996 and Goldman Sachs from 1984 to 1994.

John C. Shay – NASDAQ

John Shay joined Nasdaq as Senior Vice President and Global Head of Fixed Income and Commodities in October 2016. In this role, Shay is responsible for leading the global commodities and fixed-income areas within Nasdaq’s Global Trading and Market Services business. This includes U.S. Treasuries, global commodities, and in the Nordic and Baltic markets, he is responsible for fixed income, clearing, and broker services activities.

From 2012 to 2016 Shay served as Senior Vice President for Global Markets at Virtu Financial, where he was responsible for managing outside venue, vendor and trading relationships, focused on fixed income, commodities, and currencies.

He was formerly a member of the Treasury Borrowing Advisory Committee (TBAC).

In 2007, Shay founded and served as Chief Marketing Officer of IDCG. He oversaw all sales efforts, including managing all buy-side, sell-side and clearing member relationships. IDCG was sold to LCH in August of 2012.

Shay also founded and served as Managing Partner at Capital Market Services Inc., a wholly-owned clearing and execution services business designed to improve market access for algorithmic strategy hedge funds in the over-the-counter and exchange traded space.

In 1982 Shay began his 25 year career at ICAP, where he served as Executive Vice President and Global Head of Sales for ICAP Electronic Broking (IEB) for Fixed Income and Foreign Exchange from 2003 to 2007. Prior to 2003, he helped develop strategic partnerships in China, Hong Kong, Japan, South America and the European Union, and was instrumental in growing the company’s market share in U.S. Treasuries, Mortgage Backed Products, and Repo.

Shay earned an M.B.A. from Columbia Business School, Columbia University and a B.B.A. from Pace University’s Lubin School of Business graduating magna cum laude.

Jason Sippel – J.P. Morgan

Jason Sippel is Managing Director and global head of Prime Services at J.P. Morgan, with responsibility for the firm’s industry-leading Prime Brokerage, Equity Financing, Agency Clearing and Collateral Management businesses. He also serves as co-head of the firm’s global Delta-One business.

In this role, Jason oversees a division that provides institutional clients with a complete, multi-asset class prime brokerage platform including financing, stock loan, capital introduction and consulting services as well as collateral management, clearing, settlement and reporting services.  

Prior to his current role, Jason was head of Americas Equities Trading from 2012 to 2015, where he oversaw the firm’s Equity Derivatives, High-touch Cash Trading and Block Trading businesses in the region.  Before that, he was head of Americas Equity Derivatives Sales and Trading from 2009 to 2012.

Jason began his career with J.P. Morgan in Asia in 2002 and held a series of increasingly senior roles in Tokyo and Hong Kong, overseeing a variety of Equity and Fixed Income derivatives structuring and trading teams from 2002 to 2009.

David Warren – London Stock Exchange Group

David Warren was appointed the London Stock Exchange Group's Chief Financial Officer and joined the London Stock Exchange Group Board as a Director on 2 July 2012. David previously spent 9 years as CFO at Nasdaq OMX, where he was responsible for all financial operations, including accounting, SEC and regulatory reporting, treasury, tax, risk management, financial planning and analysis, corporate finance and investor relations. Following this, David spent two years as a Senior Adviser to the CEO of NASDAQ OMX. Prior to his time at Nasdaq OMX, David held a number of senior finance roles, including 7 years at CS First Boston.

Martin Pluves - Chief Executive Officer, LCH Limited

Martin Pluves is Chief Executive of LCH Ltd.

Martin joined LCH  in November 2009 and has 20 years financial services experience spanning exchange trading, OTC clearing and financial services regulation. Prior to his appointment to CEO in January 2015, Martin held the role of COO for LCH Ltd, led the programme to launch ForexClear and was responsible for leading the EMIR authorisation of the French and UK CCPs.

Prior to LCH Martin worked for 14 years at PA Consulting where he was elected Partner in the Financial Services practice and was a Member of the Management Group. Martin led work with clients including LCH London Metal Exchange, London Petroleum Exchange, Irish Financial Services Regulatory Authority and the Irish Stock Exchange.

He holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours) degree from Loughborough University and completed the Programme for Leadership Development at Harvard Business School.

Matt Jerman - Citigroup

Matt Jerman is a Managing Director and Head of European Flow Rates Trading. In his current role, Matt is responsible for trading desks covering OTC Derivatives, ETD Derivatives, Sovereign, Supranational and Covered Bond trading in G10 currencies.

Matt joined Citigroup in 1988, and began his trading career in European Swaps & Option shortly thereafter.  Initially focused on trading the four legacy European currencies, Matt’s mandate soon expanded to include other currencies. In 2000, a year after overseeing the conversion of 11 legacy currencies into the new Euro, Matt became Head of EMEA Linear G10 Rates trading.

Matt represents Citi on a number of industry forums, including the European Primary Dealers Association and Association for Financial Markets in Europe (AFMA)

In March 2016, as part of the Senior Manager Regime, Matt was appointed as the SM for Rates, Markets Treasury and Finance.
Matt joined the board of LCH Swapclear Ltd as a non-executive Director in September 2016

Dennis McLaughlin - Chief Risk Officer, LCH Group Limited

Dennis has over 20 years experience in risk management and finance. He joined LCH from AON where he was the CEO for Innovation and Analytics and where he introduced and developed an entirely new suite of analytics for the insurance industry. Previous to that he held the roles of Global Head of Capital and Balance Sheet Management at Merrill Lynch and was Director of Capital, Global Consumer Group at Citigroup. Dennis started his finance career as a consultant in the Global Risk Management practice at McKinsey where he focused on the risk management of Traded Products and the development of risk systems and analytical algorithms. Prior to that Dennis was a professor at Princeton University where he taught mathematics and quantitative finance.

Dennis has an MBA from Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, a Ph.D. in Mathematics from Brown University and a MA in Mathematical Science from University College Dublin.

Susan O’Flynn - Morgan Stanley

Susan O’Flynn is Managing Director and Global Head of CCP Strategy, Governance and Optimization for Morgan Stanley. She is responsible for the strategy and optimization of the firm’s house risk exposure and resource usage facing CCPs across all products, including listed and otc derivatives and securities finance transactions (“SFTs”) as well as working with the CCPs in developing new products, most recently focusing on SFT clearing. She has held this position since July 2014. From 2012 to 2014, Susan was Global Head of Firm Secured Funding across all asset classes. Prior to that, she ran the Firm Structured Funding business. Before joining Morgan Stanley in 2008, Susan worked in the Structured Funding business at Goldman Sachs in London and New York for three years. Susan previously practiced as a debt capital markets lawyer for two years at White & Case LLC, focusing primarily on emerging markets. Susan holds a Masters degree in Intellectual Property Law (LLM) and a Bachelors degree in Law (LLB).

Susan is a member of several industry working groups including ISDA and TCH. She has spoken at several conferences this year on the importance of central clearing of SFTs including the RMA.

Nikhil Rathi - London Stock Exchange Group

Nikhil was appointed as Chief Executive Officer of LSE Plc in September 2015. He also has Group-wide responsibilities for International Development. He is a member of the LSEG Executive Committee. He joined LSEG in May 2014 as Director of International Development and Chief of Staff from the UK Treasury, where he held a number of senior positions over an eleven-year period. Most recently he was Director of the Financial Services Group, representing the UK Government's financial services interests in the EU and internationally. He served as the UK representative on the EU Financial Services Committee.

Prior to that, he was Head of the UK Government Financial Stability Unit, overseeing a number of the UK's financial stability interventions during the financial crisis. Nikhil also served as Private Secretary to the UK Prime Minister for three years from 2005 to 2008

Graham Wright – Independent

Graham Wright is currently CISO and Global Head of Digital Risk for National Grid, a position he has held since 2014, with responsibility for digital and cyber security at the Gas and Electrical Transmission organisation at the core of the UK Critical National Infrastructure infrastructure provider and a major provider in the US. Prior to this role, Graham spent four years at global security company Northrop Grumman, where he was responsible of establishing and developing the UK arm of the business to provide cyber intelligence capabilities in Europe.

Graham had a distinguished career as an operational pilot for 30 years in the Royal Air Force which culminated in him being appointed Force Commander of the RAF Jaguar Force. He also held several senior cyber security and intelligence roles within the Ministry of Defence and Central Government including as Deputy Director of the Office of Cyber Security in The Cabinet Office.  He is a member of a number of security industry bodies and is currently Chairman of the Energy Emergency Executive Committee (Cyber) - a pan sector body representing the gas and electrical industry in its relationship with government and the regulators, and has participated in the G7 Cyber talks. He maintains strong links with Government and academia and currently  serves on the advisory boards of the Oxford University International Cyber Security Capacity Building Centre and Cyber Doctoral Training Centre.  He is also a member of the Governor of Rhode Island’s Cyber Commission;
He has a BSc in Applied Biological Sciences from the West of England University and has twice been included in the New Years’Honours list.

Christophe Hémon – Chief Executive Officer, LCH SA

Christophe Hémon is Group Chief Operating Officer of LCH  and Chief Executive Officer of LCH SA, LCH's French operating CCP.

Christophe graduated from French Business Schools.

Christophe started his career at JP Morgan where he held various positions in the Operations business of investment banking.

In 1993, Christophe joined Morgan Stanley, becoming Head of Operations in Paris, then Head of Operations for continental offices - Paris, Frankfurt, Zurich, Milan and Madrid. He was responsible for all business streams including equities, fixed income, derivatives, commodities and participated in major EU and market place projects.

In 2003, Christophe joined SA, former LCH SA, as General Secretary responsible for Risk, Finance, Legal and Membership issues and Treasury. He became Chief Executive Officer in November 2004.

Christophe serves on the Board of Directors of the Association Française des Professionnels des Titres (AFTI).

Anthony Attia, Euronext Paris S.A.

Anthony Attia has been the CEO of Euronext Paris S.A since January 2014.  With more than 17 years' experience at Euronext, Mr. Attia has held a number of responsibilities including market organization, business strategy, mergers and integration, and trading system design.

Mr. Attia was Chief of Staff to the President and Deputy CEO of NYSE Euronext from 2010 to 2013.   He was a member of the NYSE Euronext Technology Committee of the Board, US Operational Committee, European Operational Committee and Business Risk Group. He was also the secretary of the Investment Review Board.

In 2008, following the merger between NYSE and Euronext, he was appointed Senior Vice President in charge of the Universal Trading Platform (UTP), the common trading platform for NYSE Euronext's European and US markets. UTP has been widely recognized as an industry reference for its technological performance and integration of multiple asset-classes.

In 2004, he served as Executive Director, Head of Operations for Euronext.  He was responsible for market surveillance, the operational relationship with customers, and business development projects in Amsterdam, Brussels, Lisbon and Paris. He was in charge of market stability, regularly liaising with the College of Regulators on a number of initiatives. In 2000 he was the Program Director for the integration of Euronext, in charge of migrating the French, Belgian and Dutch exchanges to the Euronext Market Model and NSC trading system.

Mr Attia joined Société des bourses françaises in 1997. He holds an Engineering degree in computer science, applied mathematics and finance from the Institut d'Informatique d'Entreprise and also studied at INSEAD.  He was awarded, on behalf of Euronext, the Best Execution Venue by TradeTech in 2007, and the Best Equity Trading Venue by Financial News in 2005.

Mr. Attia is also a Board member of EnterNext and of AMAFI (Assocation française des marchés financiers).

Rémi Bourrette – HSBC Global Banking and Markets

Rémi Bourrette heads Strategic Investments within the Innovation department of HSBC. Before that, he was Head of Business Development for Global Banking and Markets, focusing on the development of new business initiatives and supporting GB&M's Chief Executive in pursuing growth opportunities.

Previously, Rémi was Global Head of Investment Solutions at HSBC Asset Management, developing risk management and strategic asset allocation solutions for pension funds and private clients.

Since joining HSBC in 1994 from Crédit Lyonnais (New York), Rémi has held several positions in financial engineering, risk management and business development, in Paris and London, including the role of Head of Market and Model Risks for HSBC France.

Rémi is a graduate from Ecole Polytechnique (Paris) and Ecole Nationale de l'Administration Economique (Paris). He also holds a Master of Advanced Studies in financial modelling from Paris 7 University.

Bernard Carayon - Amundi

Bernard Carayon is advisor to Amundi’s Senior Management, in particular for Socially Responsible Investing, the voting policy, the Advisory Boards, China and Asean. He was Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Amundi Asset Management and Head of Steering and Internal Control at Amundi (Finance, Risks, Compliance, Legal, Audit) until February 2017.
 
From March 2008 he was Director and a member of the Senior Management team, in charge of the Risk Management and Compliance department at Crédit Agricole Asset Management Group (CAAM Group). From 1999 to 2008, he was Director of the Risk Management and Compliance department at Crédit Agricole Indosuez which then became Calyon. Before joining Calyon, Bernard Carayon was Head of the Central Risk Management Unit at the CNCA (Caisse Nationale du Crédit Agricole) from 1991 to 1999. From 1984 to 1989, he worked as Bank Inspector at the General Inspection & Audit department. After teaching economics, Bernard Carayon began his banking career in 1978 in the Credit department of Caisse Nationale of Crédit Agricole (CNCA) were he remained for six years.

Serge Harry – London Stock Exchange Group

Serge Harry is Senior Advisor to the LSEG CEO.

Most recently, Serge advised the Group as an external consultant from 2011 to 2013. Previously, Serge held executive positions, as Chairman and CEO of BlueNext, a leading global carbon credits trading exchange, from 2008 to 2010. Prior to this, he was Group Head of Strategy at NYSE Euronext from 2007 to 2008, and CFO of Euronext from 2000 to 2007. He was also Deputy CEO of Paris Stock Exchange from 1999 to 2000, which he joined from SICOVAM (now Euroclear France), where he held a number of positions for 16 years, including General Secretary, from 1993 to 1999.

Eric Litvack – Société Générale Corporate and Investment Bank

Eric Litvack is a Managing Director and Head of Regulatory Strategy for Société Générale Corporate and Investment Bank, with responsibility for coordinating the business response to the evolving regulatory environment across the investment bank. Prior to this, he was Chief Operating Officer for the equities and equity derivatives activities of SG CIB's Global Markets division, and has also held various trading and business management positions within Société Générale's Equity Derivatives business.

Eric joined Société Générale in 1986.  He has been based in Paris since 1996, having previously been employed in derivatives trading by Société Générale in London.  

Eric graduated in 1985 from the University of Toronto.  He has been a member of the Board of the International Swaps and Derivatives Association, Inc. (ISDA) since 2006 and a member of the Board of LCH SA since April 2013.

Prof. Dr. Catherine Lubochinsky - Independent

Prof. Dr. Catherine Lubochinsky is Professor of Economics at the University of Paris 2 (Pantheon-Assas) since 1996 and was the director of the Master in Finance until 2011. Her research interests cover interest rates, derivatives, asset management, banking and financial regulation, topics on which she is the author/editor of several books and numerous articles. She is a member of the “Cercle des Economistes”.

Prior to joining the board of LCH SA in 2016, she was a member of the Supervision board of ACPR (Autorité de Contrôle Prudentiel et de Résolution).

On leave from the University during 2013-2014, she was Managing Director at the Global Risk Institute in Financial Services (Toronto), in charge of determining the focus of GRI research programs, encouraging international and cross-sectorial collaboration.

She has been President of SUERF, The European Money and Finance Forum (2006-2012).
In parallel to her academic career, Catherine has worked in financial institutions such as Banque Nationale de Paris (derivatives desk), Banque de France (Financial Markets and Stability department), Liffe-Euronext (interest rates indices), Metnext (weather indices), Amundi. She has also lectured worldwide on derivatives markets for Unique Consultants Ltd (London).

She holds a PHD in Economics from the University of Paris I (Panthéon-Sorbonne) and one in Finance from the University of Orleans.

Dennis McLaughlin - Chief Risk Officer, LCH Group Limited
Dennis has over 20 years experience in risk management and finance. He joined LCH from AON where he was the CEO for Innovation and Analytics and where he introduced and developed an entirely new suite of analytics for the insurance industry. Previous to that he held the roles of Global Head of Capital and Balance Sheet Management at Merrill Lynch and was Director of Capital, Global Consumer Group at Citigroup. Dennis started his finance career as a consultant in the Global Risk Management practice at McKinsey where he focused on the risk management of Traded Products and the development of risk systems and analytical algorithms. Prior to that Dennis was a professor at Princeton University where he taught mathematics and quantitative finance.

Dennis has an MBA from Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, a Ph.D. in Mathematics from Brown University and a MA in Mathematical Science from University College Dublin.

Shona Milne - Independent

Shona Milne is an independent non-executive director and Audit Committee Chairman of LCH Group Ltd and each of its subsidiary companies.

Shona started her Financial career at Deloitte Haskins and Sells, moving to Morgan Stanley and then Morgan Grenfell, where she was Head of Product Control for Treasury and Corporate and Investment Banking.  Following the integration of Morgan Grenfell with Deutsche Bank, she held various positions within the organisation.  Between 1996-2003 she was Global Business Area Controller for Equities Trading and Sales, moving in 2003 to the role of CFO EMEA and finally as CFO Deutsche Bank Netherlands from 2011-2012.

Shona is currently Board Trustee and Co-Vice Chair of Regents University London as well as Chair of the Finance Committee; Director of Finance South East and, Treasurer and Trustee of Stonewall Equality, a UK based charity.

She is a graduate of St Andrews University and Heriot Watt University and a Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland.
