Introduction to the CCP
Course Objective The aim of this course is to present to future Clearing Members an introduction of the CCP’s role . This training will also enable Clearing Members to understand the on-boarding process and LCH SA rules that manages the connection to the CCP. This training aims also at facilitating Clearing Members future on boarding.
Clearing Member operational training courses provide detailed procedural training to equip risk and back office operational staff with the required knowledge for the contracts and markets they will be clearing. Course content is tailored to the Clearing Member requirements, but can include: Clearing and settlement procedures Risk management and margining Collateral operations and banking reports reconciliation Collateral lodgement and withdrawal procedures Reference material
This module enables delegates to gain a comprehensive understanding of Treasury Operations and the role and function of LCHSA. If required, introductory training on the products in which LCH offers central counterparty services is provided in “Introduction to the CCP”.
