LCH Web Browser Upgrade – Further Reminder

This is a follow-on to notice to Circular 3710

All LCH LTD & LLC Members (“Members”) accessing LCH websites and other internet based facilities, please note the forthcoming changes.

LCH is planning the technical upgrade for Weekends of 23/24th July and 30/31st July 2016.

This is your final opportunity to notify LCH by Thursday June 30th 2016 if your organisation is unable meet this deadline. Please pass this message immediately to  your IT support teams to ensure that they are able to support the relevant web browsers and operating systems ahead of  this upgrade and continue to access the necessary services.

Web Browsers

  • Internet Explorer 11
  • Mozilla Firefox v27 and above
  • Google Chrome v30 and above

Operating Systems

  • Operating Systems of Windows 7, or above
  • Linux (with compatible web browser)
  • Mac OS 10.9 and above (Safari 9 and above)

NB: Windows XP will no longer be supported

For any Members that have not yet performed this upgrade, as of Friday 22nd July LCH will no longer continue to support older versions of these browsers and operating systems. Members are required to perform the necessary upgrades by Friday 22nd July, following which Members continuing to run old versions will no longer be able to access the services listed below:

LCH  Member Portals, including CMS

  • LCH corporate website
  • SwapClear website
  • Member Secure Area
  • Voltage Secure Mail
  • Member Live / Member Reporting

Any Members continuing to use old versions on or after Friday 22nd July acknowledge and accept that, without prejudice to the general liability position under the Rulebook(s), neither LCH, its affiliates, nor any of their respective representatives shall be liable to the Member, its representatives or any other third party in contract, tort, including negligence and breach of statutory duty howsoever arising, misrepresentation (whether innocent or negligent) restitution or otherwise for any loss or damage of any nature, including, without limitation, any loss of profits, business, contracts, anticipated savings, goodwill, or revenue or any direct, indirect, consequential, special, or punitive loss or damage whatsoever, arising out of, or in connection with, the Clearing Member, its representatives’ or any other person’s access issues caused by an unsupported web browser or operating system.

NB: SFTP is not affected by this upgrade.
