LCH.Clearnet Ltd (LCH.Clearnet) is pleased to announce that the Collateral Management System (CMS) now offers Statement of Holdings reporting for all Clearing Members.

Clearing Members may also request that specific statements be provided directly to a third party such as their client, their client's custodian or client's asset manager where the client has chosen asset segregation (ISA accounts).

The Statement of Holdings reporting is provided via the industry standard SWIFT MT 535 (ISO 15022) format and provides the recipient with an end of day statement for all securities holdings.

The report will provide the following information for each Collateral Account where there is activity:

  • Identification of the financial instrument(s) held as cover for current or future liabilities;
  • LCH.Clearnet haircut, paydown factor and price as applied to the financial instrument(s);
  • Aggregate, available and non-available balances of the financial instrument(s) per Custodian;
  • Cover value of the financial instrument(s) in the denominated currency of the financial instrument;

The Clearing Member may also request the following additional report options:

  • Cover value of the financial instrument(s) in a alternative reporting currency (either EUR, GBP or USD);
  • Reporting of all Collateral Accounts even where there is no activity;

Members (and Clients) who wish to subscribe to the new reporting should refer to the "CMS – Message On-boarding Guide", "CMS SWIFT MT535 Registration Form" and "SWIFT MT535 Samples" which are available to download from this location

Members (and Clients) should be aware that as a pre-requisite to receiving the statements a SWIFT key exchange (RMA) will need to be performed (as described in the "CMS – Message On-boarding Guide").
