Nodal Exchange LLC has informed LCH.Clearnet Limited that it intends to launch its own clearing operations. The subsidiary, Nodal Clear, will be applying to the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) to be registered as a derivatives clearing organization (DCO). Nodal Clear intends to go live in late 2015, subject to regulatory approval.

We continue to have a good working relationship with Nodal and will work closely with all parties over the next year.
