We refer to circular 3480, issued on 2 June 2014, where LCH.Clearnet Ltd advised members that we would not charge Swift messaging costs associated with sending settlement messages into EUI from June to September 2014.
The delay to implementing the charge was a goodwill gesture to support our Clearing Members implementation of changes following the LSE SETS migration.
As the 3 month window of not charging has now passed, we would like to advise all members that LCH.Clearnet Ltd will charge the necessary Swift messaging costs for all UK settlements. Therefore, from 1st March 2015, we will charge a minimal rate of 1p per message. These will be included in your monthly settlement invoice.
