LME Margin Rate Changes

  1. LCH Ltd has, after consultation with LME, set the London SPAN margin parameters marked in bold and italic on the attached document.

  2. The changes will be made effective from the close of business on Thursday 12th June 2014 and will be reflected in margin calls on Friday 13th June 2014.

  3. This circular supersedes circular No: LCH Ltd Circular No 3471; LME/470 dated 19th May 2014.

  4. Details of margin rates are available on the LCH website (www.lchclearnet.com) under Risk Management > Ltd > Margin rate circulars.

  5. Please click  on the LME Margin Rate Spreadsheet  for the revised SPAN parameters marked in bold and italic.
